I am Professor of Mathematical and Computing Sciences at Concordia University College of Alberta, teaching a variety of courses, primarily senior Mathematics courses for Math majors but also some first year courses for Arts and Life Sciences students. I have multiple interests outside the field of Mathematics:
- I compete with my Pyrenenan Shepherds in a variety of dog sports.
- I am interested in ballroom dancing, and have begun to compete in International Standard Ballroom and International Latin
- I am one of the main developers of the Open Source spreadsheet program Gnumeric
- I am active in the OpenDocument TC (and its OpenFormula SC) of OASIS
